Kitchen renovation cost in Toronto
Most kitchen renovations in Toronto cost $20,000 to $60,000. Where yours falls depends on how much you want to change.
Kitchen Refresh - $20,000 to $35,000
Best when you are keeping the existing layout.
New cabinets or cabinet refacing, countertops, backsplash, lighting, and finishes
Full Kitchen Renovation - $35,000 to $60,000
Best when you want to change the layout.
New cabinetry, stone countertops, electrical or plumbing changes, flooring, lighting, and finishes.
Major Kitchen Transformation - $60,000 and up
Best for major layout or structural changes.
Wall removal, open concept conversions, custom millwork, and more extensive plumbing or electrical work.

Your final price depends on the condition of the existing kitchen, the materials you choose, and the amount of work involved.
Design and required permits are included. After we see the space and confirm the scope, you receive one written fixed price before construction begins.
Your new kitchen in as little as three weeks
Most kitchen renovations take three to six weeks on site. Kitchens that keep the existing layout can move faster. Before construction starts, you receive a clear schedule with your start and expected completion dates.

Week 1
Demolition and rough in. Any required plumbing, gas, and electrical changes are completed for the new layout.
Week 2
Required inspections are completed, followed by drywall repairs, flooring, and paint.
Weeks 3–4
Cabinetry is installed. Once the cabinets are in place, countertops are measured and fabricated.
Weeks 5–6
Countertops, backsplash, appliances, lighting, and final fixtures are installed. We complete the final checks and any required inspection.
Your exact schedule depends on the scope of work, inspections, and material lead times. We confirm your schedule before construction begins.

Common questions
When will my new kitchen be ready?
Most kitchens take three to six weeks on site. Design, permits, and material ordering happen before demolition, so we do not tear out your kitchen until the project is ready to move forward.
Do I need a permit to renovate my kitchen?
It depends on the work. Replacing cabinets and finishes in the same layout usually does not require a permit. Moving plumbing or gas, changing certain electrical work, or removing a wall may require one. We review the scope and tell you what is needed before construction starts.
What happens if something goes wrong after the job is finished?
Every renovation includes a written minimum two year warranty. If there is an issue covered by our warranty, call us and we come back to address it. Victorian Reno also carries $5 million in liability insurance and is WSIB covered.
Will the price change after construction starts?
Your scope and fixed price are agreed before construction begins. If you decide to add or change work during the renovation, we price and approve that change with you before proceeding.
